OWNER: E-Z Chassis Swaps

PICKUP: 1936 Ford

ENGINE: '64 Buick 300 V8, 4-BBL

TRANS: '64 Buick 2-Speed with "Switch-Pitch" Torque Converter

CHASSIS: 1992 Mitsubishi short box pickup

BODY MODS: Truck Grille Shell is narrowed 1 ½"

Cab is "Channeled" over frame

New box sides will be built to work with "Mit-su" floor

Front frame horns will be re-done to look like stock '36 Ford

UNIQUE FEATURES: Started out life as a 2-ton Truck from a scrap yard.

Chevy 6-bolt 15" pickup wheels bolt right up!

COMMENTS: This "fun project" is to prove that you can build a "driver"

for less than 2-K if you spend your money wisely.

Here's my list so far:

'36 Ford Truck: $350 - $150 = $200 (Sold Flat-Head motor)

'64 Buick LaSabre: $350-$100-$50 =$200 (Sold finned drums, body for scrap)

'92 Mitsubishi short box pickup chassis: $100 (I removed the body myself)

Chevy Rims are Powder-Coated. Tires, Caps, & Rings are used: $150 total
